"The Shoe that Grows" is a shoe designed for children and young people living in extreme poverty. It is a shoe that grows up to 5 sizes at the same time as the foot (both long and wide), with the purpose of replacing the shoes that are commonly donated, which deteriorate rapidly due to the hard terrain and use that they are given in the rural areas where they are sent.
These children will only use one pair each 5 years!
Help us distribute them or start a fundraiser to give their first pair of shoes to children living in poverty anywhere in the world!
Help us provide a roof, pay for education and food for one of our orphans in Kenya. In sub-Saharan African countries, approximately 25% of all children are orphaned by diseases such as HIV. The Shining Star orphanage has a population of approximately 400 orphaned children of all ages.
