Shining Star Medical Research Centre, is the first medical clinic on the Muhuru Bay area. This volunteering project is made to train and sensitize medical students and health professionals offering them experience through training, supervision and accreditation in the field, providing quality medical care in low-income communities around the world.
Your job will be to promote measures for the detection and prevention of diseases such as HIV, Diarrhea and Malaria (the main causes of death in the country) and provide quality medical care.
The "Shining Star" orphanage is located in the village of Muhuru Bay on the shore of Lake Victoria in southern Kenya. In sub-Saharan African countries, approximately 25% of all children are orphaned by diseases such as HIV and "Shining Star" is one of the most populated orphanages in one of the most affected areas of the country; There, you will work giving classes and supporting teachers, doing community work in the village and you will encourage measures for the prevention of diseases such as HIV.
Medical Volunteering Trip to

You can teach and support teachers from different low-income schools; Among them you can offer English classes to children and young people of a Buddhist monastery, where since the intellectual studies of those children and young people require most of their time, each volunteer will teach 4 hours a day.
